Trevor Megill's incredible streak continues as Brewers cap series win over Mariners
Trevor Megill has been dominant for the Milwaukee Brewers since late July, retiring 30 of 31 batters faced with the only baserunner coming from an intentional walk. The All-Star closer has not allowed a hit in nine consecutive appearances and has converted 19 of 20 save opportunities since May 12, posting a 0.82 ERA over that span. Megill earned another save in the Brewers' series-clinching win over Seattle, with help from center fielder Garrett Mitchell's defensive plays. The turnaround is particularly impressive given that Megill struggled early in the season with a 6.00 ERA in May before recovering from concerns about a lingering flexor strain.
