What makes the achievement particularly remarkable is that Chourio has reached the 20-homer mark in each of his first three MLB seasons despite missing significant time to injuries in both 2025 and 2026. In his 2024 rookie season, he hit 21 homers despite a slow start and reduced at-bats in May and June, and in 2025 he surpassed 20 homers even after missing a month with a hamstring strain.
