Eric Bitonti, a 20-year-old third-round pick from 2023, broke the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers' single-season home run record with his 24th homer on Thursday, just three weeks after teammate Braylon Payne had set the previous mark. In 102 games this season, Bitonti has compiled 24 homers, 21 doubles, 80 RBIs, and is batting .271/.391/.532, though he strikes out at a 34.1% rate. The Brewers have been cautious with Bitonti's development and have not promoted him to Double-A despite his record-breaking performance, partly due to a crowded group of corner infielders in their farm system.
