Series Preview: Milwaukee Brewers @ Pittsburgh Pirates

The Brewers visit Pittsburgh to begin a nine-game road trip after going 8-5 against division rivals over the past two weeks and clinching a playoff spot. The Pirates have recovered to .500 and lead the season series 6-4, including a three-game sweep at home. Milwaukee's pitching staff is depleted with multiple relievers and starters sidelined, while Pittsburgh lost slugger Esmerlyn Valdez to a season-ending hamstring injury. Jake Bauers (26 homers) and Jackson Chourio (23 homers) lead Milwaukee's offense, while Brandon Lowe (29 homers) anchors Pittsburgh's lineup.
