After losing to the Padres 11-2 on Tuesday, manager Pat Murphy revealed that second baseman Brice Turang has a sprained thumb, adding to existing absences from shortstop Cooper Pratt (hamstring strain) and infielder Joey Ortiz (neck/upper back tightness).
