NLCS Game 1 Discussion: Milwaukee Brewers (0-0) vs Los Angeles Dodgers (0-0)

The Brewers and Dodgers meet in the NLCS for the third consecutive time, with Milwaukee seeking its first postseason series victory against Los Angeles. Jacob Misiorowski will start for the Brewers against Dodgers pitcher Tarik Skubal, the same player Milwaukee attempted to acquire at the trade deadline. The Brewers enter with three well-rested starting pitchers after a four-game NLDS win, compared to limited depth last season. Manager Pat Murphy benched Christian Yelich for Game 1 in favor of Andrew Vaughn at DH, citing matchup considerations.
