MLB's latest power rankings confirm what Brewers fans already know about Jake Bauers

Jake Bauers is having a career year for the first-place Brewers at age 30, setting personal bests across numerous offensive categories including 26 home runs, 83 RBIs, and a .394 on-base percentage that leads the National League among qualified hitters. His advanced metrics rank in the upper percentiles, and he has been particularly productive with runners in scoring position, posting a .974 OPS in those situations with eight three-run homers. After being overlooked in MLB's power rankings throughout the season, Bauers was recently ranked the 10th best hitter in baseball, recognition that comes as the Brewers prepare for the postseason with a player who has delivered clutch performances in October before.
