Logan Henderson pitched seven innings of one-run ball to lead the Brewers past the Dodgers on Sunday, outperforming Tarik Skubal in a matchup between the pitcher Milwaukee refused to trade for and the ace Los Angeles acquired at the deadline. Henderson allowed three hits and struck out six while Skubal gave up two runs over six innings on 109 pitches as the Brewers kept him working with runners in scoring position. The performance vindicated Milwaukee's decision to keep the 24-year-old rookie untouchable rather than include him in a package to acquire Skubal from Detroit.
