Brewers to send 7 prospects to Arizona Fall League with high expectations for 2027 season

The Milwaukee Brewers are sending seven prospects to the Arizona Fall League this offseason, including four pitchers and three position players. The group features outfielder Braylon Payne, a first-round pick from 2024 who ranks sixth in the Brewers' farm system and hit 28 home runs while stealing 25 bases across 102 games in 2026, along with infielder Eric Bitonti and catcher Matthew Wood. The prospects will compete for the Scottsdale Scorpions alongside prospects from the Giants, Astros, Rays, and Tigers in the October-November league, which has produced 35% of the 2026 MLB All-Star Game participants.
