Brewers' Logan Henderson closing in on unfathomable record to start MLB career

Brewers rookie right-hander Logan Henderson has pitched 21 consecutive outings without allowing more than three earned runs to start his career, tying Aaron Sele for the second-longest such streak in MLB history. Henderson needs two more such outings to break the record held by Zac Gallen, who had 23 consecutive starts with three or fewer earned runs in 2019-2020. The 24-year-old's next starts are likely scheduled against Pittsburgh on September 15-17 and Philadelphia on September 22-24, giving him opportunities to potentially match Gallen's mark before the playoffs begin.
