Brewers' Kyle Harrison postseason roster decision anything but certain after encouraging signs

Kyle Harrison's postseason roster spot with the Brewers remains uncertain after a difficult second half. The 25-year-old left-hander was among baseball's best starters in the first half before forearm tightness sidelined him in July, and he has posted a 7.80 ERA in 10 appearances since returning in early August, apparently due to mechanical adjustments made while fatigued. A particularly poor start against Pittsburgh last week seemed to seal his fate, but recent relief appearances have shown encouraging signs that could keep his playoff inclusion in play. The Brewers, who have already clinched a postseason berth with a first-round bye, will make their final decision on Harrison's inclusion as the season winds down.
