Brewers' front office may be plundered in Athletics' search for new GM

Milwaukee Brewers assistant general manager Matt Kleine has emerged as a leading candidate for the Oakland Athletics' general manager position as the team relocates to Las Vegas. Kleine, who joined the Brewers organization in 2007 and has held various front-office roles since then, has been linked to multiple GM opportunities over the past year with other teams. The Athletics fired general manager David Forst in August and are conducting an external search to fill the role. While losing Kleine would impact Milwaukee's front office, the Brewers have demonstrated resilience in retaining organizational success after previous departures, including when David Stearns left for the New York Mets.
