Brewers clinch NL Central title

The Brewers clinched the NL Central title for the fourth consecutive season after defeating the Pirates 5-1 and the Braves beat the Cubs 6-3. Manager Pat Murphy has now won three division titles with Milwaukee, matching the total achieved by his predecessor Craig Counsell. The Brewers still have opportunities to secure a first-round bye with a magic number of six, and can clinch the top seed in the National League with nine more wins.
