Anderson, the third overall pick in last year's draft, has posted a 1.06 ERA with a 40.5% strikeout rate across 18 Double-A starts. The Cubs previously faced a similar situation in 2024 when they encountered Paul Skenes in his MLB debut, while the Brewers prepare for their own important series against the Braves featuring a matchup between Cy Young contenders Chris Sale and Jacob Misiorowski.
