2026 NL Central Power Rankings: Week 25

The Brewers clinched a playoff spot and moved within two wins of the NL Central title after sweeping the Cubs and winning two of three against the Reds. William Contreras led Milwaukee's offense with three homers and 12 RBIs, while the pitching staff excelled with Robert Gasser, Logan Henderson, Jacob Misiorowski, and Dustin May combining for 27 innings with just three earned runs and 31 strikeouts. The Cubs remain in contention for a top wild card spot at 83-67 after bouncing back from a Brewers sweep to take two of three from the Pirates. The Pirates are on pace for their first winning season since 2018, while the Cardinals were swept by the Giants and the Reds struggled with losses to the Dodgers and Brewers.
