2026 MLB Championship Series open thread

The four remaining teams competing for the World Series are set: the Rays face the Guardians in the ALCS, while the Brewers take on the Dodgers in the NLCS. The Rays swept the Yankees in the Division Series and enter the ALCS with a well-rested pitching staff and a balanced offense led by Jonathan Aranda, Junior Caminero, and Yandy Díaz. The Guardians rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the White Sox, relying on their top rotation arms Parker Messick and Gavin Williams and the offensive production of José Ramírez. The Brewers-Dodgers matchup features contrasting rosters, with the Dodgers boasting star-laden veterans like Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts, while the Brewers counter with a younger, scrappy team anchored by Christian Yelich and William Contreras.
