2 former Brewers become surprise additions to Braves' 2026 Wild Card roster

The Atlanta Braves named two former Milwaukee Brewers players to their Wild Card roster: designated hitter Rowdy Tellez and Brewer Hicklen. Tellez spent two and a half seasons with Milwaukee from mid-2021 through 2023, hitting 35 home runs in 2022 before being non-tendered. He joined the Braves before this season but spent most of it in Triple-A, appearing in just 10 major league games in June. The Braves face the Philadelphia Phillies in their Wild Card Series starting this week.
